Announcements:

1.  Elif Demir has joined the ESP team for 6 months.  Welcome.

3.  ESP logo competition begun.  We will receive entries until Sep 10.  Meet Sep 14 to decide winner.

Issues:

• Pressure issues on all cores.
  • Chris brought up issue that the sampling issue never gave us a problem before, now we're seeing it.  Doesn't make sense.  We think we have been dancing on the edge of accpetablility and have now crossed over .  Will continue to retro-fit cores with stiffer springs, and adjust the pressures reached to insure pucks don't pop open when pumped up.

• Antenna at Abe's
  • Brent oversaw the mounting ($266.00) and antenna is working beautifully.  Brent will turn down the power to 250mW (right now running at 1W) to give us a 4W effective.

• Drifter
  • must have mission checkd.  Chris S. will look over.  Loading pucks today.
  • Tomorrow is a comms check.   QC check tomorrow.  then power down and sit over the weekend.
  • CANON cruise leaves Sep 9.  Drifter deploys Sep 15.

• ISUS Pressure housing
  • some minor changes (MINK fitting and vent port), then sending out for bid.

• DESP
  • Doug working on an IEP replacement.  He's testing new configurations, but there is potential problem with encoder.
